Contract Position Position Overview:
ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a welcoming elementary school in Carlsbad, CA. In this full-time role, you'll work closely with young learners to support speech, language, and communication development in a collaborative school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide speech and language therapy services to elementary-aged students Conduct evaluations and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student success Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and compliance records Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active California SLP license (or ability to obtain) CCC-SLP preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFs) encouraged to apply Previous school or pediatric experience preferred Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
