Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A contract opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services in a school setting located in Cathedral City, CA. This position involves working directly with pediatric and school-aged populations, delivering comprehensive speech and language therapy in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough evaluations of patients presenting with speech and language disorders. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs. Provide therapy sessions aimed at achieving speech and language improvement goals. Accurately monitor and document patient progress throughout treatment. Collaborate effectively with educators, healthcare professionals, and family members to ensure coordinated care. Engage families in the therapy process to support better outcomes.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) is preferred. Experience working with pediatric and/or school-aged populations is highly desirable. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
Additional Requirements:
Active license approved by the State Board of Speech-Language Pathology for the respective state. Master's degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology is mandatory.
