Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding role supporting students with communication needs in a school-based environment near Citrus Heights, CA. In this contract position, you'll utilize your clinical expertise to evaluate, diagnose, and treat a diverse caseload of children experiencing speech and language challenges. As part of a multidisciplinary setting, you'll have the opportunity to make a significant difference in students' academic and personal growth.

Responsibilities include:

Conduct comprehensive assessments for students with speech and language disorders Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student's unique needs Facilitate engaging therapy sessions focused on speech, language, voice, and fluency goals Track and document student progress with detail and accuracy Collaborate closely with educators, families, and other specialists for cohesive, student-centered care Empower and educate families to support their child's progress beyond therapy sessions

Qualifications:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution Current state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure in Speech-Language Pathology Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome Previous experience with pediatric or school-aged clients is a strong asset Excellent written and verbal communication abilities Confidence to work autonomously and as an integral member of a collaborative team To be considered, candidates must have an active state license and a Master's degree (or higher) in Speech-Language Pathology.
