Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a genuine impact as a Speech-Language Pathologist by supporting students' communication and learning goals in a school-based setting near Citrus Heights, CA. This contract opportunity is ideal for candidates who are passionate about helping children overcome speech and language barriers and who thrive as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students with communication disorders Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's goals Provide direct therapy sessions targeting speech, language, voice, and fluency Monitor progress meticulously and maintain detailed, accurate documentation Partner closely with teachers, support staff, and families to promote cohesive, effective care Educate and involve families in the therapy process to maximize outcomes

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current (or eligibility for) state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, though strong Clinical Fellows (CFY) are encouraged to apply Background working with pediatric and school-aged populations is a plus Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently as well as productively within a team environment Active state license, or ability to obtain, as approved by the State Board of Speech-Language Pathology Master's degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology is required Enjoy a competitive compensation package with access to a knowledgeable advisory team comprised of SLP professionals in your state.
