Qualifications:

Valid California Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) credential required Prior experience or strong interest in working with school-aged children (K-12) Ability to collaborate with educators, caregivers, and support staff Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills Commitment to individualized and evidence-based practice

Primary Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address a range of speech and language disorders Provide direct therapy to students in both individual and small-group settings Track student progress, document outcomes, and participate in IEP meetings Serve as a resource to teachers and parents, offering strategies and tools for enhanced classroom communication Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal requirements throughout the duration of the contract Adapt techniques and materials to ensure therapy is engaging and effective for each age and developmental level
