Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a hospital setting Current, active California SLP license Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
Assess and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in patients Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals Document patient progress, maintain efficient records, and communicate updates with medical staff and families Educate patients and their support systems to enhance treatment outcomes and quality of life
