Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A contract role is available in Desert Hot Springs, CA, for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with expertise in school settings. This position involves working closely with pediatric and school-aged populations to support their communication needs through tailored speech and language interventions.

Key responsibilities include:

Conducting comprehensive evaluations for patients experiencing speech and language disorders Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans based on evaluation outcomes Providing targeted therapy sessions to address specific speech and language goals Carefully monitoring and documenting patient progress throughout the treatment process Collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure cohesive and coordinated care Engaging families in the therapy process, offering education and support to enhance outcomes Candidates must meet the following qualifications: Possession of a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Speech-Language Pathology Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) is preferred Experience working with pediatric and school-aged populations is highly desirable Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to work both independently and as part of a team Current licensure approved by the State Board of Speech-Language Pathology in the respective state is required This role offers the opportunity to engage in a rewarding contract position within a supportive and collaborative clinical environment.
