Toddler and Preschool Teacher

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Toddler and Preschool Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for young children. As a Toddler and Preschool Teacher, you will play a crucial role in the development of our students, guiding them through their formative years with engaging lessons and activities that promote literacy, social skills, and cognitive growth. Applicants MUST have 12 Early Childhood Education units. Applicants MUST have a VALID form of identification. Applicants MUST pass a criminal background clearance. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with curriculum standards. Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and exploration. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to build strong relationships. Manage classroom behavior and maintain a safe, organized learning space. Assess student progress and adapt teaching methods to meet individual needs. Incorporate literacy education into daily activities to enhance language development. Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and best practices in early childhood education. Provide guidance and support to students in their social and emotional development. Experience Proven experience working with preschool-aged children in an educational setting is preferred. Familiarity with childcare principles and practices is essential. Experience in lesson planning and classroom management techniques is highly desirable. Background in private school settings is a plus but not required. Strong communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
