A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting K-12 students as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming 2026/2027 school year. As an essential member of a dedicated educational team, you'll help students build communication skills that unlock their academic and social potential. This full-time, on-site role is ideal for professionals with a passion for partnering with young learners and educators. Qualifications we're seeking: Valid or pending SLP license in California Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology SLP-CCC or strong SLP-CFY candidates are encouraged to apply Prior school-based or pediatric SLP experience—whether internship, CFY, or beyond—preferred Understanding of a diverse K-12 caseload and IEP process Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills Enthusiasm for working on-site in a supportive school setting In this role, you will: Deliver speech, language, and communication therapy to students from kindergarten through high school Conduct assessments, develop therapy plans, and contribute to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Track student progress, maintain thorough documentation, and adapt interventions to foster growth Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to best support student goals Participate in school meetings, professional development, and multidisciplinary team activities This contract offers: Consistent, full-time schedule throughout the 2026/27 school year Opportunity to shape students' academic journeys and personal development Supportive school environment united by a shared commitment to student success If you're ready to make a meaningful difference with your SLP expertise in a vibrant K-12 school community, we'd love to hear from you!
