Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract position supporting students' communication and language development in a vibrant school setting near El Cajon, CA. This opportunity is perfect for Speech-Language Pathologists passionate about pediatric care and eager to make a lasting impact in educational environments. Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current or eligible CA SLP licensure Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) or actively working toward SLP-CFY Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred Strong understanding of IEP processes and documentation Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations
Responsibilities & Duties:
Assess speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' unique needs Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams Deliver direct and consultative therapy services, monitoring student progress Maintain accurate records and reports per district and legal requirements Engage with families and staff to provide education and resources for student support Foster a positive and inclusive environment for all learners
