Job Description

Category Therapy - Skilled - SLP Job Type Contract Make a difference in the lives of young students by supporting their communication skills in a vibrant educational setting. This contract opportunity offers an engaging schedule and the chance to work closely with a diverse PK-5th grade population of eager learners. Your day will consist of 7.75 working hours (plus a 30-minute duty-free lunch), from 7:45am to 4:30pm, for a total of 38.75 hours each week. The team values both experience and adaptability. Holidays are unpaid. Please note, this opening is for a Speech-Language Pathologist only; SLPA applicants will not be considered at this time.
Key qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Valid SLP license (CCC or CFY eligible) Experience in healthcare, pediatric, and school-based SLP settings Skilled in evaluating and implementing therapy for preschool through 5th grade students Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation abilities
Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to younger students Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff to integrate therapy into classroom settings Maintain accurate and timely records of student progress and services Participate in parent meetings, IEPs, and student support team discussions Provide expertise and resources for classroom staff as needed This role is ideal for professionals who are passionate about pediatric speech therapy and thrive in a collaborative school environment.
