Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a difference in the lives of students across El Dorado County through fulfilling contract assignments in the 2026-2027 school year. This opportunity offers diverse placements throughout a beautiful region, with sites spanning from El Dorado Hills to Camino. Embrace the flexibility and adventure of an itinerant position, serving various school locations as needs shift throughout the semester. As a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellow (CF), you'll support students with mild to moderate—and potentially some severe—caseloads. Each assignment promises new learning opportunities and the chance to build your expertise in a dynamic, supportive environment. SLPAs are welcome, with on-site supervision provided.

Desired Qualifications:

Current California SLP license (no additional district or licensing requirements necessary) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellows and SLPAs considered Previous experience in school settings and working with SEIS preferred Enthusiasm for travel and adaptability to changing assignments Strong collaboration and organizational skills Comfort providing onsite services; teletherapy is not an option for this district

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver speech and language therapy services to a diverse student population Conduct assessments, develop IEPs, document progress, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams Travel to multiple school sites as assignment needs evolve Provide supervision and mentorship to SLPAs or CFs as appropriate Maintain compliance with all state and school guidelines Imagine weekends spent exploring Lake Tahoe or Sacramento, only a short drive away.
