Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity working with students across vibrant communities, providing in-person speech-language pathology services throughout K-12 grade levels. Collaborate within supportive school environments and impact young learners' communication skills with the assistance of SLPAs and dedicated educational teams. Openings exist for three experienced professionals to serve in person in two locations: Victorville (K-6) and Needles (K-12). Each SLP will maintain a manageable caseload of approximately 55 students, supported by an SLPA. In the Needles area, there is a unique aspect that may require occasional travel to the reservation at Monument Peak, with all mileage for this drive reimbursed. The assignment runs from August 2026 to June 2027, offering the consistency of a school-year schedule within a contract role.
What We're Looking For:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active state SLP license, Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), and CTC Clear Credential required Previous experience working in a school setting (K-12 preferred) Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to provide direct, in-person services (no CFs or virtual options) Commitment to working the full school year on a 37.5-hour weekly schedule Willingness to travel as needed, with mileage reimbursement provided for extended commutes
