Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding school-based contract position as a Speech-Language Pathologist, supporting students at the elementary and preschool levels for the upcoming academic year. This opportunity offers the chance to make a real impact on young learners' communication skills in a positive, team-oriented environment. Open positions are available for both elementary (caseload: 55 students) and preschool (caseload: 40 students) at the same campus. Each role is full-time, with 35 hours per week scheduled from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (including a ½ hour unpaid lunch), spanning from August 17, 2026, through June 4, 2027. While in-person services are preferred, there is some hybrid work flexibility available for the preschool SLP.
Qualifications & Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) license Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred Ability to manage an assigned caseload while collaborating with teachers and staff Familiarity with IEP documentation and procedures Strong communication and organizational skills Comfort working with diverse student populations
Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students Conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and participate in IEP meetings Collaborate with educators and families to support student progress Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions, progress, and compliance requirements Foster a positive, encouraging atmosphere for student growth and achievement This role provides an exceptional opportunity to serve a vibrant student community while maintaining a stable, consistent weekly schedule on a single elementary campus.
