Overview We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team at a 126-bed skilled nursing facility in Fremont, California . This permanent position offers the consistency many clinicians are looking for: a Monday-Friday schedule, 35 hours per week, and no weekend rotation . Competitive pay of $42•62/hour Permanent, full-time opportunity 35 hours per week Consistent Monday-Friday schedule No weekend rotation 126-bed skilled nursing facility Collaborative interdisciplinary environment Opportunity to make a meaningful difference in residents' quality of life Supportive setting for both experienced clinicians and new graduates A chance to develop your clinical skills across a diverse patient population Work-life balance without sacrificing meaningful clinical work Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing evaluations Develop individualized treatment plans based on residents' clinical needs and goals Provide skilled speech-language therapy using evidence-based practices Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as appropriate Evaluate and treat communication, cognition, and swallowing disorders Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and collaborate with nursing and other rehabilitation professionals Educate residents, families, and caregivers on treatment strategies and recommendations Communicate effectively with the care team regarding patient progress and changes in condition Promote patient safety, independence, and quality of life through individualized care Qualifications Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current California Speech-Language Pathologist license or eligibility for California licensure Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA or eligibility preferred Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with an interdisciplinary team Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care New graduates are encouraged to apply Why Fremont, California?
