Services Fullerton, CA Job Details Full-time $60 - $70 an hour 17 hours ago Qualifications Master's degree in speech-language pathology (SLP) Master's degree Full Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our dynamic team, committed to enhancing communication skills and improving quality of life for individuals across diverse settings. In this role, you will evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders with a focus on pediatric populations. Your expertise will help children and students overcome communication challenges, fostering their academic success and social development. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in environments such as home or childcare facilities making a meaningful difference every day. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing functions using standardized tools and clinical observations. Develop individualized treatment plans aligned with each client's needs and goals, including strategies for early intervention when appropriate. Implement evidence-based therapy techniques to improve speech clarity, language comprehension, social communication skills, and swallowing safety. Collaborate closely with educators, healthcare professionals, families, and caregivers to coordinate care plans and ensure consistency across environments. Maintain detailed documentation of assessments, treatment progress notes, and therapy outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss client progress and adapt intervention strategies as needed. Educate clients and their families about communication disorders and provide guidance on exercises or activities to support ongoing improvement at home or school.
Requirements / Qualifications
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Current state licensure and/or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Experience in home setting or school settings preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
