Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact in the educational environment by providing essential speech and language services to students in a supportive, collaborative atmosphere. This contract opportunity focuses on delivering high-quality care and communication strategies, enhancing students' academic and personal development.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current Speech-Language Pathology license valid in California Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA required Experience working with school-aged children preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to independently organize and manage a caseload
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs Provide direct therapy services in individual and group settings Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress Maintain detailed, accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with district and legal guidelines Participate in eligibility, IEP, and intervention meetings Offer resources and strategies to staff and families to foster communication goals This position presents an excellent way to contribute keen expertise in a dynamic setting, supporting students' communication growth and fostering an inclusive learning space.
