Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding position supporting students for the 2026/2027 school year as a contract Speech Therapist, where your passion for communication and growth will make a meaningful impact. Work within a dynamic K-12 learning environment, collaborating closely with educators and families to help students reach their fullest potential. This full-time opportunity welcomes both seasoned professionals and those in their Clinical Fellowship Year, as well as Speech-Language Pathology Assistants.
Qualifications & Experience Sought:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders (for SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY applicants) Valid state licensure and/or eligibility for licensure as an SLP or SLPA Recent experience in school-based settings (preferred, not required) Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills Dedication to fostering student development and educational progress
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with various speech, language, and communication needs across K-12 grade levels Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and IEP goals Consult and coordinate intervention strategies with teachers, counselors, and parents Maintain thorough records and progress reports, ensuring compliance with district and state requirements Provide guidance and support for classroom strategies to enhance communication and learning Attend IEP meetings and contribute expertise in speech-language development Experience a fulfilling role where you can make a difference in the lives of students while enjoying the professional support and growth opportunities within a vibrant school district.
