Desired Skills & Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current California SLP license or eligibility Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred Prior school-based experience or a strong interest in pediatric populations Ability to assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders in a school environment Excellent interpersonal skills for collaboration with school staff and families Efficient documentation and organizational abilities
Position Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech-language therapy services to K-12 students Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and monitor student progress Collaborate with classroom teachers, special educators, and administrators on student needs Attend and contribute at IEP meetings, creating comprehensive reports and recommendations Implement interventions addressing articulation, language, fluency, and pragmatic skills Participate in school-wide initiatives to support student communication and success This contract role provides the excitement of working in a dynamic educational setting, with the flexibility to balance professional and personal goals.
