Job Description

Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position offers the opportunity to support students from PreK through 8th grade in a virtual setting with scheduled in-person assessments in Huntington Beach, CA. The role involves working with elementary-aged students, including those with Autism, nonverbal communication needs, and severe behavioral challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide push-in and push-out speech therapy services across 1-2 school sites. Conduct virtual sessions combined with in-person assessments (excluding VOCO therapy). Utilize AAC strategies to support communication development. Work closely with students from PreK to 8th grade, focusing on elementary experience. Manage documentation and billing through SEIS. Collaborate with educators and staff to meet individual student needs.
Qualifications:
Valid SLP-CCC license; waivers not accepted. Experience working with children who have Autism, nonverbal communication, or severe behaviors. Skilled in delivering AAC intervention. Proficient in SEIS platform for session documentation and billing. Comfortable providing services virtually and in-person. Experience in elementary school settings preferred.
Location:
Position based in Huntington Beach, CA, with nearby access to Compton, Long Beach, Anaheim, and San Clemente areas. This contract role is full-time at 37.5 hours per week, covering the full school year.
