Job Description

Category Schools - SLP - CFY Job Type Contract Empower students to achieve their communication goals in a supportive school environment using your passion for speech-language pathology. This contract opportunity places you in diverse settings—from mild to moderate needs through specialized healthcare—in locations including Newcomb. Desired Background & Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current or pending state licensure as an SLP or eligible for Clinical Fellowship Year Experience in school settings, with familiarity in both mild/moderate and moderate/severe SDC populations Skilled in evaluation, treatment planning, and implementing evidence-based interventions Strong communication, collaboration, and record-keeping skills Comfortable working in specialized healthcare and inclusive classroom environments
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students Develop individualized therapy plans and articulate clear treatment goals Deliver direct and consultative services in classroom, clinic, or small group settings Document progress, prepare progress reports, and participate in IEP meetings Work closely with educators, parents, and interdisciplinary teams to maximize student outcomes
