Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in Inglewood, CA, for the upcoming academic year. This full-time, contract role serves elementary and some preschool age groups in the Los Angeles area, providing valuable speech therapy services within a supportive educational environment.
Key Qualifications:
Current California SLP license required Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred Experience working with elementary and preschool populations Strong communication and collaboration skills
Position Details:
Start date: August 10 End date: June 10
Hours:
7 hours per day, 7:45 AM to 3:15 PM Caseload specifics to be determined
Location:
Inglewood, CA school setting Contract position
Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and provide speech therapy to students with communication disorders Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student success Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings as needed Implement evidence-based therapy techniques tailored to student needs
