Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into an impactful school-based opportunity providing speech-language pathology services for the remainder of the 25/26 school year. Work full time, Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 3:15 pm, supporting students near Irvine, CA. You'll collaborate with dedicated educational staff and have the benefit of detailed transition notes and plans from the previous SLP. The manageable caseload (55 students or fewer) allows you to focus on delivering quality services to each student in your care. Ideal candidates will bring skills and experience matched to a dynamic, supportive educational environment.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Valid Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license for California Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field School-based therapy experience preferred Ability to manage and organize caseload responsibilities efficiently Proficiency with IEPs, therapy planning, and current assessment practices Strong collaboration and communication skills Adaptability and commitment to following established student plans
Key Responsibilities:
Provide individual and group therapy sessions for students with communication needs Conduct assessments as needed and complete any pending evaluations Complete and implement IEPs and finish current assessment cycles Utilize provided transition notes and detailed plans to ensure continuity of student services Track student progress and maintain accurate records Participate in meetings with families, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams Support a positive, inclusive school environment
