May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Hold a current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) Eligibility for California state licensure Previous experience in school settings and/or pediatric caseloads preferred New graduates completing their Clinical Fellowship (CFY) are encouraged to apply Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
Deliver speech and language assessments and therapy to students in K-12 settings Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals Maintain accurate progress records and participate in team meetings Offer support and resources to families and educational staff
