Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make an impact by supporting students' communication skills as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a school-based setting. This contract opportunity runs from June 9th to June 30th, with a manageable 25-hour workweek, providing an ideal balance for professionals seeking a short-term assignment with meaningful engagement. Ideal candidates hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) and have experience in K-12 educational environments. Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required Previous experience providing speech services in schools or with pediatric populations Valid state licensure to practice as an SLP in California Strong assessment, therapy planning, and case management abilities Confident collaborating with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
Conduct speech-language screenings, evaluations, and assessments for K-12 students Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Deliver targeted therapy sessions to address speech, language, and communication needs Stay compliant with state and federal guidelines regarding documentation and progress tracking Participate in IEP meetings, progress reviews, and collaborative planning Provide consultation and resources to staff and families to support students' goals This assignment offers a generous compensation of $135 per hour, reflecting the value placed on your specialized skills and commitment.
