Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make an impact supporting elementary students as a Speech Language Pathologist during the 2026-2027 school year. This rewarding assignment offers a contract position for those passionate about fostering communication skills in young learners. The role focuses on providing both direct and indirect speech-language services during the school day, Monday through Friday from 8am to 3pm. You'll collaborate with a dedicated faculty and enjoy guaranteed hours with a structure that excludes additional district duties such as bus or parent pick-up responsibilities. If you are a travel therapist, stipend eligibility is included.
Desired Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Active state licensure or eligibility as an SLP in California Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP), or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders for students at the elementary grade level Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in coordination with multidisciplinary teams Deliver therapy, maintain session notes, and track student progress Collaborate with teachers and families to maximize student outcomes Participate in IEP meetings as required during contracted hours
