Key Qualifications and Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current or eligible CCC certification (Clinical Competence Certificate) Consideration given to Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates California SLP license (or eligibility to obtain) Prior experience in school or pediatric settings strongly preferred Knowledge of speech-only and mild-to-moderate as well as extensive learning needs caseloads
Position Responsibilities:
Provide speech, language, and communication assessments and therapy for an assigned caseload of approximately 55 students Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in accordance with IEP requirements Collaborate effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams Document progress and maintain timely, thorough records Deliver services in-person, virtually, or in a hybrid capacity as preferred and permitted by the assignment Work within a team model, potentially with SLPA support for in-person delivery This contract position offers the flexibility you seek while letting you impact young learners in a supportive educational setting.
