Lompoc, CA Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide in-person therapy services in a school setting. The role involves working with students to screen, assess, and identify communication disorders that impact their academic progress. The SLP will develop and deliver direct and indirect services according to Individualized Education Plan (IEP) goals, collaborating with teachers, parents, and para-educators to support students' needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Screen, assess, and identify students with communication disorders. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on IEP goals. Provide direct and indirect therapy services to students. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students' communication needs. Provide guidance and direction to para-educators, teachers, and parents on best practices for communication development. Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records and progress notes.

Job Details:

Shift:

Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM (with 30-minute unpaid lunch).

Weekly Hours:

37.5 billable hours.

Contract Duration:

Full academic year (exact start and end dates).

Qualifications:

Active ASHA certification . California SLP License . CTC Credential or a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.

Note:
