Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a meaningful contract opportunity supporting students' success as a School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the fall term. This role begins September 19 and continues through December 18, helping students develop vital communication skills in a vibrant educational setting near Long Beach, CA. Spanish language proficiency is highly valued for this assignment, as many students benefit from bilingual support.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Current state licensure as an SLP (CCC or CFY considered) Experience providing speech and language services in a school environment Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with students, parents, and school staff Spanish-speaking ability is a significant plus Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation standards preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver individualized and group therapy sessions to students with speech and language needs Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor student progress Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide input for IEP goals Maintain accurate therapy records and contribute to progress reports Offer support and educational resources to families and classroom teachers
