Speech Language Pathologist Aid New Heights Charter School Los Angeles, CA Job Details Full-time $38 - $44 an hour 17 hours ago Qualifications SLPA License Bachelor's degree Full Job Description Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) TK-8 Charter School | Los Angeles, CA We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team for the 2026-2027 school year at a small, supportive TK-8 charter school in Los Angeles. This position is ideal for a recent graduate or SLPA looking to gain valuable school-based experience while working closely with an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist. Consistent supervision, mentorship, and professional support will be provided. Responsibilities Provide speech and language therapy services to students in grades TK-8 under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist. Implement treatment plans developed by the supervising SLP. Collect and maintain accurate therapy data and session notes. Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success. Prepare therapy preparation, materials, and organization of files and data Maintain student confidentiality and comply with all school and state regulations. Participate in regular supervision meetings and professional collaboration. Qualifications Current California SLPA license or eligibility for licensure. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to meet deadlines and maintain accurate documentation. Positive attitude, flexibility, and willingness to learn. Passion for working with children and helping students succeed. This job is full-time and the pay is dependent on the skill set and level of experience of the applicant. The SLPA will work to provide service minutes to students in grades TK-8 working with a team of educators. New Heights Charter School, opened in 2006, is a WASC accredited school. New Heights consistently scores higher than schools in the surrounding neighborhood. and students scored better than the state average for all our major subgroups.
