Key Qualifications and Experience:

Current, valid Texas Speech Language Pathologist license required Experience with elementary school-age children preferred Ability to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders Strong collaborative skills to work with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams Effective communication and documentation abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

Conduct screenings and comprehensive speech/language evaluations for assigned students Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to students' needs Deliver direct therapy services to elementary-aged caseload in a school-based setting Maintain accurate documentation of progress, session notes, and reports in compliance with guidelines Collaborate in IEP meetings, providing expert recommendations and progress updates Advise and support teachers and caregivers, offering strategies for generalization and carryover of skills
