Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A full-time Speech Language Pathologist position is available for the 2026-2027 school year in a K-12 district located in Martinez, CA. This contract role offers a rewarding opportunity to support diverse student populations with speech and language development needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide speech and language therapy services to students across K-12 grade levels Assess and evaluate speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders Develop individualized treatment plans based on student needs Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district policies and procedures Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning teams
Desired Qualifications:
Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) Eligible for or currently holding a Clinical Fellowship (SLP-CF) Experience working with school-aged children in educational settings Strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills Knowledge of current speech therapy methods and best practices for school environments
Location:
Martinez, CA (K-12 public school district) This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $55 to $65, reflecting experience and qualifications. The full-time contract is aligned with the 2026-2027 school calendar, providing stability through the academic year.
