Work directly with students and educational teams

Dedicated Support:

Work with a responsive staffing team committed to your success throughout your assignment Key Responsibilities Conduct speech and language assessments to identify students' communication needs. Develop, implement, and monitor individualized speech and language therapy plans. Provide direct and consultative speech-language services to students with a variety of communication disorders. Develop and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), including speech and language goals, progress reports, and required documentation. Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, administrators, families, and related service providers. Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions. Monitor student progress and adjust therapeutic interventions to support student success. Maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with district, state, and federal requirements. Support students in developing functional communication skills that promote academic success and social engagement.

Qualifications Required:

Valid California Speech-Language Pathologist license, if applicable to the candidate's authorization and assignment. Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders. Strong understanding of speech and language development, assessment, and therapeutic interventions. Familiarity with IEP development, special education laws, and school-based service delivery. Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary educational teams. Previous school-based SLP experience preferred. ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
