Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a fulfilling contract role supporting students' communication growth in an elementary and middle school setting. A bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist is needed for a full-time opportunity, working 37.5 hours weekly with a caseload of approximately 55 students. This assignment runs from August 6 to May 27, providing critical speech and language services near the Fontana and Moreno Valley, CA area.
Key Qualifications:
Valid California licensure as an SLP or SLPA (no SLP CFs at this time) Previous school-based or healthcare experience working with pediatric populations Bilingual Spanish skills required to best support student needs Excellent organizational and communication skills Commitment to providing culturally responsive, equitable service Comfortable managing diverse needs across elementary and/or middle school ages
Primary Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech and language disorders Deliver therapy sessions and monitor students' progress toward established goals Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student learning Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to school district policies Participate in IEP meetings, providing input and support for students' educational planning Deliver both group and individual therapies as needed This role offers a structured school calendar, the chance to impact students' academic and social success, and the opportunity to work closely with a dedicated school community.
