A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

About SkyAbove Therapy SkyAbove is a specialized, clinician-supported agency. Unlike generalist staffing firms, we offer Real Clinical Leadership. Our Clinical Directors provide the mentorship and resources you need to handle assessments and caseloads with confidence.
Position Highlights School Setting:
Serve a bilingual (Spanish/English) school campus in the areas (San Jose or Morgan Hill or Stockton) 2026-2027 school year.
Bilingual Impact:
Provide speech-language services in a fully bilingual school community where your Spanish-language skills are essential.
Full-Time, Predictable Schedule:
40 hours/week, approximately 7:45 AM-4:15 PM.
Timeline:
Interviews are being scheduled now for an August start.

SkyAbove handles payroll, credentialing, and liability coverage - with bi-weekly direct deposit and ongoing clinical mentorship behind you. Responsibilities Provide direct speech-language therapy services (individual and group) across the campus. Conduct speech-language evaluations, including bilingual/culturally and linguistically appropriate assessments. Develop IEP goals, monitor progress, and present at IEP meetings. Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to integrate communication strategies into the dual-language classroom. Maintain timely, compliant documentation.
Compensation & Benefits Schedule:
Full-time (40 hrs/week), 2026-2027 school year, on site.
Pay:
$65-85/hr, based on experience and location of school (San Jose, Morgan Hill, Stockton) with bi-weekly direct deposit.
Perks:
Professional development assistance included. Requirements Active California SLP license (Speech-Language Pathology Board) and/or Speech-Language Pathology Services Credential.
ASHA CCC-SLP
preferred (CF candidates considered with supervision). Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English (required).
Pay:
$65.00 - $85.00 per hour
