Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in a vibrant educational setting near Novato, CA. This position is ideal for dedicated professionals who are passionate about helping children improve their communication skills and achieve their individual goals.
What you bring:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current California SLP license (or eligibility) ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred Previous experience in a school setting is highly desirable Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment Key responsibilities: Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to students' unique needs Deliver direct therapy services (individual and small groups) Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary staff to monitor progress and adjust strategies Maintain accurate documentation, including progress notes and evaluations Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expert guidance on goals and accommodations Provide education and consultation to parents and staff on communication disorders and best practices Pay ranges from $60-$80 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
