Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity serving elementary students as a Speech Language Pathologist for the 2026/2027 school year. This full-time role is perfect for both licensed SLP-CCCs and SLP-CFYs eager to provide high-quality support in a dynamic school setting. As part of a supportive team near Oakdale, you'll work collaboratively with educators and families to help students reach their communication goals.
What You Bring:
Master's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field Current or pending CA Speech-Language Pathology licensure Eligibility for or possession of SLP-CCC certification or SLP-CF status Experience supporting school-aged children, preferably in an elementary setting Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills Commitment to creating inclusive, engaging learning environments
Your Day-to-Day:
Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in elementary-aged students Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each child's needs Deliver therapy sessions—both individually and in small groups Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to develop integrated learning strategies Track student progress, maintain records, and update IEP goals as required Participate in school meetings, professional development, and parent conferences Serve as a resource for staff and parents on speech-language development
