Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP, SLP-CCC). This full-time position—open to part-time interest as well—will engage you in dedicated work with school-aged children, making a direct impact on their communication and learning outcomes throughout both CSY (current school year) and NSY (next school year).
Key Qualifications:
  • Valid Speech-Language Pathology license
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Prior experience in schools or with pediatric populations is highly valued
  • Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Adaptability to varying caseloads and changing student needs
  • Commitment to evidence-based, student-centered practices
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech, language, and communication challenges
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Deliver direct and consultative therapy services to students across grade levels
  • Document progress, maintain detailed records, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Engage with teachers, families, and support staff to foster students' communicative growth
  • Participate in professional development and stay current with best practices
