Foundations Therapy Service is a therapist owned practice serving Contra Costa County families and children since 2002! We have both full time and part time positions available. Clinical support for therapists including technical direction and clinical problem solving. Responsibilities Provide individualized speech therapy sessions and ongoing session planning for children and adolescents, including assessments (SLP) and progress monitoring. Develop and implement evidence-based therapy plans, adapting activities for school-age and pediatric populations. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and SLPA colleagues to support communication goals across settings, including early intervention when applicable. Utilize medical terminology and anatomy/physiology knowledge to inform evaluations and treatment, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with licensing requirements. Qualifications Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist or SLPA (as applicable) Core skills: speech therapy, session planning, and assessment (SLP) Pediatric experience with early intervention concepts School-based experience preferred (elementary setting) Pediatric or school-related interaction with children and youth therapy SLPA license (if applicable) and ability to collaborate with supervising SLP Strong communication, documentation, and interdisciplinary teamwork skills
