Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into an impactful contract position supporting a K-12 caseload for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time role offers the opportunity to work closely with students across a district, helping them develop vital communication skills that will serve them throughout their academic journey. Ideal candidates bring strong clinical knowledge and dedication to nurturing student growth and potential. Whether you have your Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or are completing your Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), your expertise in school-based speech-language pathology will make a real difference.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Current state SLP licensure (or eligibility) ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP), or qualification as a Clinical Fellow (CFY) Experience supporting school-aged students in speech and language development Collaborative approach and positive attitude working with teachers, families, and educational staff Strong organizational and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech and language delays or disorders Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and monitor progress toward therapeutic goals Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to support student success across academic settings Offer support and resources to educators and families to help integrate strategies in the classroom and at home Maintain thorough documentation and compliance with district and state guidelines This contract opportunity extends throughout the 26/27 school year with a full-time schedule.
