Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Join a rewarding contract opportunity in Palm Desert, CA, providing specialized speech-language pathology services within a school setting. This role focuses on assessing and treating students with diverse speech and language challenges to support their academic and social success.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations for students presenting with speech and language disorders Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's unique needs Facilitate therapy sessions aimed at achieving targeted speech and language objectives Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of student progress and therapy outcomes Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team including educators and healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care Involve and educate families in therapy goals and strategies to reinforce progress outside of sessions
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Speech-Language Pathology Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) is preferred Experience with pediatric or school-aged populations is advantageous Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment Active license approved by the State Board of Speech Language Pathology for practice within the state
