Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Join a school-based team in Penn Valley, CA, as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) under a 160-170 day contract. This opportunity involves working at one elementary site, serving students from transitional kindergarten through 5th grade with a caseload of approximately 40-45 children.
Responsibilities:
Conduct speech and language assessments and evaluations Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress Monitor and document student progress and adjust therapies accordingly Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning
Qualifications:
Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist Experience working with elementary-aged students (TK-5) Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with children, families, and school staff Ability to manage and prioritize a caseload of 40-45 students Knowledge of a variety of speech and language disorders and appropriate interventions
