Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a difference in the lives of students by supporting their communication and language development in a K-12 environment for the 2026/2027 school year. This full-time contract opportunity places you within a diverse district near Pittsburg, CA, where your expertise as a Speech Language Pathologist will be highly valued. Opportunities are available for experienced SLPs (SLP-CCC) as well as Clinical Fellows (SLP-CF). New grads with strong potential are encouraged to apply and will be supported throughout their assignment.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong CF candidates actively seeking clinical fellowship will be considered Valid state licensure (or eligible), with ability to secure required credentials by start date Experience with K-12 populations preferred but not required Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills Passion for working with diverse student populations and helping them reach their potential
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide speech and language assessments, evaluations, and therapy for students in K-12 setting Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) Collaborate with teachers, families, and other staff to support student success Maintain accurate records, document progress, and participate in IEP meetings Deliver culturally responsive, evidence-based interventions Enjoy the rewards of a dynamic school setting and make a lasting impact by supporting students' academic, social, and personal growth.
