Job Description

Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Make a genuine impact supporting students across El Dorado County by providing high-quality speech-language pathology services in a variety of school settings for the 2026/27 school year. This contract position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse caseload, ranging from mild to moderate—and occasionally severe—needs, with the added excitement of engaging with multiple school communities throughout the county. What you'll do: Deliver diagnostic, therapeutic, and consultative services to students with speech, language, and communication disorders Collaborate with education professionals, caregivers, and administrators to design and implement effective individualized education plans (IEPs) Provide documentation and maintain data in compliance with district and SEIS guidelines Offer onsite supervision for Clinical Fellows (CFs) and SLPAs, if assigned Adapt flexibly to changing locations and assignments during the school year Travel to various district locations as needed, with most sites spanning from El Dorado Hills to Camino Preferred background: Active California Speech-Language Pathology License Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) strongly preferred Experience in school-based settings and familiarity with SEIS documentation a plus Comfortable with itinerant work, varied caseloads, and frequent travel within the district Strong interpersonal skills for building rapport with students, staff, and families New grads (CFs) and SLPAs welcome—onsite support is available Enjoy the beautiful surroundings—from Sacramento to Lake Tahoe—while helping students thrive.
