Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract role supporting students across multiple locations in El Dorado County for the 2026-2027 school year! Multiple opportunities are available for skilled Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP-CCC) interested in school-based settings. Caseloads will range from mild to moderate, with the possibility of some more involved cases. Enjoy the scenic beauty of the Sierra Foothills, with sites primarily located between El Dorado Hills and Camino—just a short drive from Sacramento and Lake Tahoe. This position is likely itinerant, so flexibility and comfort with changing assignments and travel between sites throughout the semester are essential. Onsite presence is required, as virtual roles are not being considered. Clinical Fellows (CFs) and SLPAs may also be considered, provided there is availability for onsite SLP supervision. Caseload sizes will vary, and assignments will be finalized in May.

Qualifications:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and hold a current California SLP license Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but strong CFs and SLPAs are encouraged to apply School-based SLP experience strongly preferred, especially with California Schools and SEIS documentation Ability to adapt to multiple locations and diverse caseloads; experience with traveling or itinerant roles a plus Reliable transportation for travel between assigned sites Detail-oriented, collaborative, and patient-focused approach

Responsibilities:

Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to K-12 students Assess, develop, and implement IEPs working closely with teachers and support staff Maintain accurate SEIS documentation and progress reports Participate in team meetings and communicate regularly with families and staff Supervise and mentor Clinical Fellows or SLPAs as needed Ready to make a meaningful impact while enjoying the vibrant communities and stunning surroundings of El Dorado County?
