00 per hour Join Our Compassionate Team at Sierra Valley Rehab Center! Sierra Valley Rehab Center is seeking a talented and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our interdisciplinary care team. This part-time position is a great opportunity for a skilled professional passionate about improving communication and swallowing abilities in a skilled nursing setting.

Sierra Valley Rehab Center is a respected provider of skilled nursing and rehabilitation services in Porterville, California. We are committed to providing compassionate care and helping our residents reach their highest level of independence.
Responsibilities:
Evaluate patients for speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in coordination with the care team Provide direct therapy and caregiver/staff training as needed Maintain accurate documentation, including daily treatment notes, evaluations, progress reports, and discharge summaries Participate in care planning meetings and collaborate with nursing and therapy staff Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and facility standards
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current and valid California SLP license Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred Prior experience in a skilled nursing or post-acute setting strongly preferred Strong communication, organizational, and clinical skills CPR certification
