Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a difference in the lives of students as a Speech-Language Pathologist working in a supportive school-based environment on a contract basis near Quincy, CA. This role offers the opportunity to assess, diagnose, and provide impactful therapy for children with a variety of speech and language needs while working collaboratively with an enthusiastic, multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
Complete comprehensive evaluations for students with speech and language disorders Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs Conduct engaging therapy sessions to address communication goals Monitor, maintain, and document detailed records of student progress Work closely with educators, support staff, and other professionals to ensure coordinated delivery of services Involve and guide families throughout the therapeutic process to maximize outcomes
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution Current or eligible state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred Previous experience with pediatric or school-based populations is an advantage Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team setting To be considered, candidates must hold (or be eligible for) active licensure in the state and meet the educational requirements listed above.
