Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact supporting students across grades K-12 by providing speech-language services in a dynamic school setting. This contract opportunity offers hands-on experience and a collaborative environment, serving elementary and secondary students with manageable caseloads and support from SLPAs. The positions are fully onsite and require travel within the Victorville or Needles, CA areas, with mileage reimbursement provided for longer commutes to Monument Peak. Key Qualifications & Desired Experience Active California state license in Speech-Language Pathology ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) CTC Clear Credential required Prior experience in a school setting preferred, supporting K-6 or K-12 Ability to provide engaging, in-person therapy sessions Comfortable with occasional travel between school sites as needed Strong documentation and communication skills Primary Responsibilities Deliver high-quality, in-person speech and language therapy to student caseloads (approximately 55 students per SLP) Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) Collaborate closely with on-site SLPAs, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams Conduct assessments, track student progress, and maintain thorough records Facilitate communication and language development for diverse learner populations Role Details & Benefits Contract position, 37.5 hours per week, following the academic calendar (August 2026 - June 2027, subject to change) Positions available in both Victorville and Needles, CA Support from a knowledgeable school-based therapy team Reimbursement for mileage when traveling to remote locations This is a meaningful chance to advance your career while empowering students toward success.
