A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Job Description
Speech and Language Pathologist Position:
Red Bluff, CA We are seeking a qualified SLP to work with a school district in the Red Bluff, CA area. The school would like to hire a speech and language pathologist to assist the children in the district in overcoming the difficulties associated with speech impairment for the 2026-2027 school year. The therapist will be working with preschoolers with a case of about 20 students.Job responsibilities:
Determine if students are eligible for services in the areas of articulation/phonology, abnormal voice, fluency, and language. Review IEPs at least annually and conduct initial and re-evaluations. Schedule and provide individual and/or group therapy sessions. Meet and confer with teachers and parents about methods and techniques for dealing with special problems and adjustments to education programs for communicative difficulties. Qualified candidates will have a California State license, teaching certification and the ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence. Some supervision may be required.ProCare Therapy Benefits:
