Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract An opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support an elementary caseload in a school setting located in Ridgecrest, CA. This position is a contract role running from August 6, 2026, to May 27, 2027, with full-time hours totaling 37.5 per week. The focus is on providing onsite services exclusively, as the district is transitioning away from virtual appointments to direct in-person intervention.
Key Qualifications:
Valid Speech-Language Pathologist certification (SLP) with the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred. Experience working as an SLP in school settings. Ability to effectively manage and deliver services to an elementary school caseload. Strong communication and collaboration skills for working closely with students, families, and educational staff. Commitment to providing onsite therapy services.
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments for elementary students. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Deliver direct therapy services to students referred for speech and language support. Monitor and document student progress regularly. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student success. Participate in team meetings as required by the district.
Location & Schedule:
Position is based onsite in Ridgecrest, California. Full-time, 37.5 hours per week.
Contract duration:
